CargoOS
A dispatch and tracking platform replacing whiteboards and phone calls with live shipment status, automated planning and driver tooling.
Project overview
Dispatchers planned routes on a whiteboard and tracked shipments by phone. Customers had no visibility, and every exception required a call chain.
Challenge
Planning could not scale with fleet growth, exceptions were discovered late, and customer service spent most of the day answering "where is my shipment?".
Solution
A dispatch console with automated route suggestions, an offline-capable driver app, and a customer tracking view fed by the same live event stream.
Design
A map-and-list command centre where exceptions surface themselves. The driver app is built for gloves, sunlight and patchy signal.
Development
Event-driven services with an offline-first mobile client, conflict resolution on sync, and integrations with telematics and the existing ERP.
Key features
Dispatch command centre
Live map, exception queue and drag-to-reassign planning in one view.
Offline driver app
Proof of delivery, signatures and photos captured without signal and synced later.
Customer tracking
Shareable live status links that cut inbound status calls.
ERP integration
Two-way sync of orders, invoices and master data with reconciliation reporting.
