MedFlow
A scheduling and care-coordination platform that brings patient booking, clinician availability and internal administration into one system.
Project overview
Patients booked by phone, clinicians managed availability in separate calendars, and administrators reconciled the two by hand. MedFlow needed one source of truth.
Challenge
Double bookings, high no-show rates and an administrative workload that grew linearly with patient volume. Any solution had to respect strict privacy requirements.
Solution
A shared scheduling core with a patient-facing app, a clinician view and an operations console — all reading the same availability model, with privacy controls designed in from the first sprint.
Design
Two very different audiences, one system: a calm, minimal patient flow and a dense clinician console. Shared tokens keep them recognisably one product.
Development
A single scheduling service enforcing all availability rules, consumed by web and mobile clients. Access is logged, data minimised and every integration reviewed for compliance.
Key features
Real-time availability
One scheduling engine shared by patients, clinicians and administrators.
Automated reminders
Configurable reminder sequences with confirmation and rescheduling links.
Clinician console
Availability templates, exceptions and rota handover in one screen.
Privacy by design
Data minimisation, access logging and role-scoped record visibility.
