Project overview
Finora needed an operations platform where every financial action — request, review, approval, settlement — left a trace. The existing process spanned four tools and depended heavily on individual knowledge.
Challenge
Approvals were slow and impossible to audit. Rules lived in people's heads, reporting was assembled manually at month end, and onboarding a new operations hire took weeks.
Solution
We modelled the approval chain explicitly, built a rules engine the operations team can configure themselves, and made every state change an immutable event with a full audit trail.
Design
A dense, keyboard-first interface designed for people who use the product all day: bulk actions, saved views, inline detail panels and a consistent hierarchy across every queue.
Development
An event-sourced service layer behind a typed API, with background workers for settlement jobs, contract tests against partner systems, and load testing against projected peak volumes.
